d r e a m s c a p e
a collaborative artistic research,
initiated between me and artist Mo Zeisner in Icelandic landscape.
It can be placed in an intersection of art, nature,
and human perception.
While immersed in the landscape, we ask ourselves questions
What does this place communicate?
What do we hear with our own unique perceptions and how can we translate it through artistic practice?
In my research, I primarily work with movement improvisation, accompanied by poetry, videoart and photography.

Through the project, we strive to build an immersive, multi sensory installation, using materials that can stimulate different senses, such as smell extracted from raw matter, field recordings of the surroundings, visuals, performance, in order to translate our experiences from specific sites and encounters with concrete objects such as moss or stone.
In 2024 we have received support from Culture Moves Europe Fund to continue the research in our home countries - Iceland and Germany.
In Iceland, we have gathered materials such as visuals, raw matter, field recordings and in Berlin we have worked on the further development of the concept, processing and organising materials as well as diving into learning about scent extraction and perception.
We have also encountered the field of ecosomatics which influenced the direction of the research into more bodily oriented.
While we currently dive into deeper exploration of new practices, we are also silmutaneously envisioning the installation in retation to new findings, thoughts and experiences.
